I have today sent the following results to the IOMICA Secretary:

6.1: For 29, Against 0, Abstain 2
6.2: For 30, Against 0, Abstain 1
6.3: For 21, Against 8, Abstain 1

7.1: For 20, Against 3, Abstain 8
7.2: For 20, Against 3, Abstain 8

2011 IOMICA AGM

London International Boat Show Update

London Boat Show IOM Regatta

Radio Sailing at London International Boat Show

Graham Bantock has made us aware of this. His email is copied below:

An event for IOM class yachts has been scheduled for the London Boat Show. This is principally aimed at clubs with a view to promoting the show as a whole and a £100 entry fee gets you an entry for one IOM (yours) to the event plus 10 tickets. The winning club gets £500. It is open to clubs affiliated to the RYA and, by virtue of the MYA’s affiliation to the RYA, that include MYA affiliated clubs.

If it proves succesful as a feature of the show this time it is likely to be repeated with more time available in 2012.

An opportunity for some of our better sailors to show their prowess in front of a large audience.
